Tailor training in Nepal (4th course)

In March and April 2024, we visited our long-standing partner organisations, AGAMEE in India and the United Serve Society in Nepal. During our visits, we inspected ongoing projects and planned future initiatives. Click on the links below for more detailed descriptions of the tailoring training courses we visited. An update covering the new training cycle is in the works; we’ll post it as soon as things get properly underway and we receive the first photos.

Future plans of the partner organisations:

  • Adult education through training courses (sewing courses, computer courses) for communities affected by poverty in Terái.
  • Support for children from very poor families by covering the costs of school fees, school uniforms and stationery in Chitwan, Nepal.
  • Drinking water projects in Chitwan, Nepal.

A very special thank you from our partner organisations to our members and donors. Thanks to your support, Aim Aid is able to make a real difference in Nepal and give disadvantaged people – particularly young women – the chance to lead self-determined lives. We are very proud of our local partners, who work with total dedication, transparency and respect to improve living conditions in their countries.
