  • 2022 - 2024: SWAPNO: Safe Water – Advances in Purification Options. Cross-sector project (Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research; Heidelberg University; AGAPE e.V.)

  • 2021 - 2024: Evaluation of the Reusability of Various Filter Media for the Removal of Arsenic from Drinking Water and Their Sustainable Use through Recycling, Including Field Testing at Sites in Bangladesh (PhD research conducted at the Institute of Applied Geosciences, Darmstadt, and the Institute of Geosciences, Heidelberg; funded through internal resources of Heidelberg University).
  • 2019 - 2021: Investigation and Assessment of Spatial and Temporal Influencing Factors on Arsenic Mobility in Groundwater in Bangladesh (collaborative project between Geosciences and Geography with PhD research, funded by the Johannes Hübner Foundation, Giessen).
  • 2020: Geochemical Investigations for the Application of Electrocoagulation in Drinking Water Treatment in Bangladesh (Master’s thesis and research at the Institute of Geosciences, Heidelberg University; funded by Heidelberg University).
  • 2017 - 2018: AsFreeH2O: Suitability and Social Acceptance of Water Purification Technologies under the Influence of Future Sea-Level Rise (HeiKa collaborative project between the Institute of Geosciences, Heidelberg University, and the Institute for Functional Interfaces at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, funded by HeiKa Explore).

  • 2017-2018: Natural and Anthropogenic Influencing Factors on Arsenic Mobility in Bangladesh, Sylhet (collaborative project between Geosciences and the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health, funded by the Heidelberg Center for the Environment (HCE)).
  • 2015: Geochemical Investigation and Scientific-Technical Support Regarding the Arsenic Problem in Pabna, Northwest Bangladesh (small-scale project initiated by the Heidelberg-based association AGAPE e.V.)
