In 2023, third-party funding of more than €48,000 was acquired through project applications. The donations from members and supporters were also very generous this year. This is important because third-party funders usually expect us to significantly contribute. A big thank you to all our sponsors!

A significant portion of the income was used for Bangladesh in 2023 - in particular project specific third-party funds. We have also implemented great projects in Nepal. Due to the third-party funded projects, there were a lot of costs for research and travel this year. As in recent years, the share of administrative costs was kept very low at 4% and personnel costs in Germany at 5%. With a few exceptions, we work entirely on a voluntary basis in Germany. This work can be a lot, but it's a lot of fun. Thank you for your trust!
