Shortly after AGAPE e.V. was founded, the first projects were implemented in Bangladesh. This is due in particular to Md. Abdul Wahab, who has been responsible for the AGAPE projects since the beginning of the cooperation. He now has his own registered association, AGAPE Bangladesh. This is a prerequisite for the transfer of donations. In addition to the AGAPE projects financed from Germany, the AGAPE Bangladesh association also carries out its own projects with donations from local members. In the picture below, Wahab (in the red polo shirt) hands over our first sand filter to the police in Ullapara. The police also make the filtered water available to nearby residents.
